no sand in class

I always wear close-toed shoes, but today I wore flip-flops to school for the first time and I’ve noticed two things:

  1. My feet feel naked.
  2. I have a constant expectation that I’m about to leave for the beach.

I like it.

  2. i’ve been wearing sandals for the last year or so during warm weather. it’s wonderful. it’s not so much shoes i dislike, it’s socks. they’re so hot and restrictive. free your feet.
