for every beginning, there is a chicken on an antenna

So this morning, the alarm went off at 4am so Lauren and I could go see The Matrix: Revolutions. We stopped at a Kripsy Kreme (24 hour drive thru, hella) got some sugar and coffee and met the masses who had also gotten up at this obscene hour on a weekday to go see a movie. I’ll say I very much liked the movie, but I won’t go into it any more so I don’t risk spoiling it.

I tried to get a picture of Lauren in front of the clock that read 4:10am, but that didn’t turn out (the flash on my camera made the numbers illegible), I also tried to get a picture of the crowd in front of the theatre at 5am, but that also didn’t work out (the crowd was backlit), so I give you the only picture I took this morning that actually turned out:

We saw this while sitting in traffic on the way home, at around 8:30am.
